Starbases within Starfleet Command are Regional Support Centers charged with serving and assisting local chapters
(ships) within its regions.
Starbase 06 region covers the entire State of Indiana.

Starbase 06 serves and supports 10 local chapters (also known as ships)
within the State of Indiana. Chapters range in size from just a few members to over 100. 
Most are active and provide monthly meetings for its members, special activities for its members and provide opportunity for fund-raising activities to support local charities.
